There are several ways to get to Andros by ferry, since the island is connected in many ways to the mainland and the surrounding islands. There are no ferries from Piraeus to Andros. Ferries to Andros depart only from the port of Rafina, located 40 km from the center of Athens, and 10 km from the “El. Venizelos” Airport.
The trip from Rafina to Andros takes 2 hours and these ferries also connect Andros to Mykonos and Tinos.
We can organize the transportation! A private taxi, minivan or bus will be waiting for you on the airport. All schedules are connected with the ferries.
Otherwise, buses depart daily from the airport between the Exits 2 and 3 of the arrivals hall (opposite of Sofitel Hotel). A bus departs approximately every 1 hour from 06:00 am until 21:45 pm. The trip takes about 30 min and the ticket costs 3.00€.
